It appears that he too followed her from London's Fulham and seems to know a little bit more about what is going on. But the best part of Tim Cruickshank is that he is not on the side of the thugs.

Although the thugs stand guard outside, she finds a way of barricaded the door to prevent them coming in and breaks the fire alarm glass to set off the fire alarm and call the fire brigade.

Eventually she is rescued by the firemen but before they have a chance to ask her any questions, she slips away out of the side door.

The files on Sarah's laptop are very precious to her and as he holds out the floppy disc that carries the antidote she considers giving him what he wants in exchange for the virus killing program.

But the idea fills her full of disgust and anger so she snatches the floppy disc from the youth and turns to run.

Isn't it strange how fast technology moves on? Do you remember these old floppy discs? (Hint, they were all the rage before CDs to back data up on.)

In page fourteen of Sarah's Price, the free online thriller romance novel by Rob Hopcott, we discover that Peter was one of the directors of the company in which Sarah used to work and had invested all her savings.

Even worse, Peter had now moved to take a management position in the company in which Sarah's husband worked and was seemingly pursuing a similar plan which could end up by him bringing the company where David worked to its knees.

Sarah was also incensed to discover that her laptop computer has become infected by the virus that brought her previous employers company to liquidation.

The youth Sarah believes collaborated with sharp practices businessman Peter to introduce the virus to the corporate system had only recently been employed and Sarah vows to confront him in his Fulham flat.

When she arrives, the spotty youth makes no attempt to deny what he has done.

Virus infections are the plague of computers and there is even talk of them becoming part of modern warfare. Personally, I use Ubuntu, a free distribution Linux operating system, which enables me to avoid such problems. What operating system do you use and have viruses affected you? When she arrives for her assignation with Peter, she only brings a small suitcase, almost as if she's not taking the weekend seriously. As they drive West deep into the Somerset countryside, she forces herself to appear friendly and intimate by placing a hand high on his thigh and hates herself for her infidelity to her husband.

Peter's body language with her shows he is looking forward to the four-poster bed that is waiting for them at the country pub hotel. Sarah has other ideas and suggests they take a walk before dinner to delay the time when she will have to surrender herself to Peter's most intimate embraces.

In page five of Sarah's Price, the free on-line thriller romance novel by Rob Hopcott, Sarah and David discuss that their spouses are miles away giving them freedom to meet and talk.

They decide to spend their lunch time together rowing on the Serpentine lake in Hyde Park.

Peter shows his manly strengths rowing the boat and Sarah continues to exercise her womanly wiles on Peter. Perhaps by design, her low cut blouse and tailored knee length skirt are not designed to sit on a wooden bench of a rowing boat whilst still retaining modesty.

For the first time, Sarah flirts openly with Peter and almost, but not quite, asks him if he finds her attractive.

The page ends with a reference to wealthy Arab students who are also enjoying the lake with their Rolexes flashing in the sun, giving a hint of the central theme of the story.

Does the fact some people live in poverty and can't find enough money to eat or pay for accommodation worry you or do you think it is their problem and usually richly deserved?
