Sarah's Price 03 - free on-line thriller romance novel

In page three of Sarah's price, the free on-line novel by Rob Hopcott, we learn more about Sarah.

She is used to the rough and tumble of office life and is a bit of an 'anarchist'.

Yet, when she reaches into the strange man's lap to gather her papers, after they are blown there by the wind, she blushes, knowing that she has engineered her first intimate contact with this stranger.

Having broken the ice, she then engages the stranger in conversation, challenging him to make the best of his brief lunchtime break instead of taking his office work to the park. This is the first of many challenges Sarah will make to him in this free on-line novel.

Sarah's Price 02 - free on-line thriller romance novel

On page two of Sarah's Price the free on-line novel by Rob Hopcott, we discover that Sarah met the man she intended to seduce in London's Hyde Park by first joining him on a park bench and then engaging him in discussion.

Again there is a mention of Sarah's trusting husband and she thinks guiltily about him collecting their children from school even at the moment she is deliberately engaging the man she intends to seduce into conversation.

She's nervous and not at all attracted to the man, yet she is determined to continue with their plan.

It is clearly the intention of this ordinary suburban housewife to use her feminine wiles to further her own plans. What do you think of this? Have you ever done something similar of been subjected to a similar plan? I'd love to hear about it in the comments below - but no names please :-)

Sarah's Price 01 - free on-line thriller romance novel

In page one of Sarah's Price, the free on-line thriller romance novel by Rob Hopcott, we see main character Sarah facing a dilemma and standing on the top of a West Country hill looking out over the Bristol Channel.

Her quandary is that she is married yet she has agreed to spend the weekend with a man who is not her husband, to commit adultery and to do so seemingly willingly.

The middle-aged man who stands beside Sarah wears clothes that are neat and tidy and clearly has a different character and personality to Sarah.

The page ends with a reference to her husband David planting an affectionate kiss on her lightly freckled face and it is clear that for Sarah this weekend is no love match.

Set in London and the West Country, UK during the 1990s, Sarah's Price is a free online thriller romance novel written and published by myself. I hope you have a good read :-)

Your comments are welcome below. The novel was originally written during the awful events of the 1990s credit crunch and reflects hardships endured by people during that time. It is sad, that, despite the passage of time, the economic conditions that are the backdrop to this fictional free online novel story of the 1990s are still so terribly relevant to many in 2008.
