In page twelve of Sarah's Price, the free on-line thriller romance novel by Rob Hopcott, the story begins to explain why Sarah is risking infidelity to her husband.
Although Sarah and her husband David had both held down responsible jobs and earned good money for many years, the crippling high interest rates prevailing in the 1990s, together with the liquidation of Sarah's employer's company, had left Sarah and David struggling.
A corporate computer failure was involved in Sarah's employer's liquidation and there is a hint that ruthless businessman Peter had something to do with it.
